Mao-kun appears like any typical high school student from the outside. However, what sets him apart is his family background. His mother passed away when he was young, leaving him to be raised by his father alone. This lack of maternal affection led Mao-kun to develop gynophobia. Then, his father remarried and granted the new stepmother the opportunity to provide Mao-kun with the love he had been craving-perhaps even too much of it.
