Hayato Hayasugi, whose last name is a play on "too fast," and other kids will become conductors for the Shinkalion robots. These robotic models are based on real-life Japanese high-speed trains (shinkansen) that transform into fighting machines to safeguard Japan from an unknown threat. The children, in collaboration with the adults at the Shinkansen Ultra Evolution Institute (SUEI), will work together to vanquish a monstrous foe resembling a black bullet train.
