For eons, there has been harmony between humans and magic realms, even though they are separated by a magical barrier. However, this equilibrium is threatened when three powerful spheres fall from the sky to Earth. The ruler of magic sends Boss, a skilled warrior; Lime, an expert in transformations; and Poogie, a master of shapeshifting to recover them before it's too late. With limited time left, they must retrieve these spheres, which turn into Bug-Eyed Monsters when they come into contact with the human world, causing negative emotions in everyday objects to manifest as BEMs.
