The narrative revolves around Chuukan Kanriroku Tonegawa, which serves as a spin-off from the popular Kaiji franchise. This new series focuses on Tonegawa, who is the right hand man to Kazutaka Hyoudou, the president of Teiai Corporation and proprietor of multiple gambling tournaments. As Hyoudou grows weary with his routine life, he instructs Tonegawa to arrange a "game of death" as part of their job to keep the president content. The story unfolds in a comical manner, depicting Tonegawa's interactions with his subordinates and other characters from the Kaiji series.

The anime was aired on Wednesdays at 1:59 a.m. between July 4 to October 3, 2018, but changed to Wednesdays at 0:00 a.m. starting October 10.
