Yin and Ning are two siblings who have been traveling together since their village was destroyed by the evil Taibai Empire. Their childhood friend Zhao has been enslaved by Taibai himself, but uses his skills in tinkering and invention to survive as a slave to the Empires whims. One day, Yin accidentally discovers a legendary sword that gives her incredible combat abilities and summons a mystical mechanical fox spirit named Yun, who is sworn to fight by her side. Meanwhile, Zhao befriends a mysterious young girl with great power within the Taibai Empire. As the resistance armies grow increasingly entangled in the Empires battle for dominance over the land, they will need all of their magic and might to turn the tide of war once and for all.
