In 2016, humanity's future was threatened by the Mage King Solomon, leading Chaldea, an organization of secret mages, to launch Operation Grand Order to repair Singularities caused by Holy Grails scattered throughout time and space. Ritsuka Fujimaru, a last master of Chaldea, along with his demi-servant Mash Kyrielight, traveled through time using the Rayshift technology to resolve six Singularities. Now, they face their most dangerous mission yet: protecting humanity in ancient Mesopotamia during the Age of Gods, B.C. 2655. Upon arrival, they discover that Demonic Beasts roam the land and attack people and towns. Uruk, a fortress city acting as the frontline against these beasts, is commanded by King Gilgamesh, who sought aid from Heroic Spirits to protect his city. Ritsuka, Mash, Gilgamesh, and their summoned servants must defend Uruk against the magical beasts' onslaught and defeat the Three Goddess Alliance, which aims to eradicate humankind. However, a greater threat looms over Uruk, preparing for its awakening.
