The events in MIX take place 26 years after those in the story Touch. According to Tatsuya Uesugi, Meisei Academy High School was renowned for its powerful baseball team. However, despite their past successes, they have struggled to maintain their reputation in recent years. The focus of MIX is on two stepbrothers, Soichirou and Toma Tachibana, who aim to revive Meisei Academy's baseball team and compete in the National High School Baseball Championship. As second-year students at Meisei Academy Middle School, both boys possess exceptional baseball skills. Soichirou excels as both a catcher and batter, while Toma has demonstrated exceptional pitching abilities. Despite his exceptional pitching skills, Toma no longer pitches due to a certain reason. After entering high school, Soichirou and Toma team up as a battery and work towards their goal of competing in the National High School Baseball Championship. Their passion and dedication will touch your heart, making MIX an enjoyable high school baseball drama for all ages and genders.
