The Di Gi Charat series is comprised of short advertisements for Digital Gamers, an Akihabara-based retail establishment. In this animated show, we follow Dejiko, the princess from the planet Di Gi Charat, along with her companions Puchiko and Gema, as well as Rabi~en~Rose, Dejikos rival. The series portrays their daily struggles at Gamers, where they work together to overcome challenges. Dejiko arrived on Earth with only a cat cap and clothing to conceal her identity. She lacked funds but was accompanied by her guardian Gema and friend Petite Charat. Fortunately, the trio encountered the manager of Gamers, who offered them housing in exchange for working at the store. Despite being a self-centered young girl with dreams of stardom, Dejiko and her companions found fulfillment in their roles at Gamers.
