In Japan, it is illegal to carry firearms. However, rifle shooting sports are still competitive activities that require accuracy and precision with a rifle. Most participants in these competitions are members of the defense force due to the prohibition of carrying firearms. When light beams were used instead of real bullets as ammunition, rifle-shooting contests became more accessible to younger people, leading to school contests. Hikari Kokura is a first-year high school student and an enthusiast of marksmanship who has recently transferred to Chidori High School. She tries to join the club of her choice but discovers that it no longer exists due to its low popularity. Despite being upset, she decides to restore the club and recruits three other members: Izumi Shibusawa, Erika Meinohama, and Yukio Igarashi. This marks the beginning of the Chidori Rifle-Shooting Club with a single goal-to compete on the national stage!

Broadcast of the series 12th and final episode, which was originally scheduled for January 5, was postponed due to production issues. The final episode premiered on January 18 at 8:30 p.m. via Tokyo MX, followed by KBS Kyoto, BS11, Sun TV and AT-X.
