In the year that passed, a portal opened up in the Pacific Ocean connecting our planet with an unfamiliar realm inhabited by mythical creatures such as fairies and monsters. The city of San-Teresa became home to over two million inhabitants from this otherworldly domain. However, with the influx of these visitors came their own set of problems including drug abuse, prostitution, and human trafficking. In response, a new unit was formed in the San-Teresa Metropolitan Police Department to tackle the rampant criminal activity that plagued the city's underbelly. Among the finest officers in this department is Kei Matoba, a former JSDF soldier with a penchant for bending rules on occasion. Following an unsuccessful fairy trafficking operation, he lost his partner Rick Fury, which set him on a path of vengeance. To aid him in his quest for justice, the authorities paired him with Tilarna Exedilika, a noble from the Farbani Kingdom who serves as one of the Knights of Mirvor. Her mission is to rescue the fairy that Kei encountered during their last encounter. Despite his initial reluctance towards non-humans due to his past experiences, he agreed to work with her at the request of his superiors. Now, this unlikely duo must put aside their differences and collaborate in order to return the missing fairy to her homeland and avenge the death of Kei's partner.
