Genzou Shibata is a professional wrestler who has an enormous body but a deep love for animals. In the ring, he fights under the name "Animal Mask" and adopts a tiger persona that wins over crowds everywhere. During one of his matches, Genzou defeats his greatest rival in a German suplex, which knocks out the princess who summoned him to her kingdom. The princess's kingdom is being threatened by monsters, so she begs Genzou for help. Instead of assisting her, Genzou uses this opportunity to start his career as a beast hunter and befriend creatures from all over the world. He teams up with Shigure, Hanako, and Carmilla Vanstein to capture and tame dangerous animals. Despite their differences in appearance and abilities, they work together to fulfill Genzou's dream of owning a pet shop.
