In the story of "The Legend of White Snake," Xiao-Bai, a demonic creature with white skin, is tasked with killing the Emperor's Taoist advisor for harming snakes. However, she is ambushed by the advisor's followers before she can carry out her mission and ends up defeated. Fortunately, her hairpin imbued with magical powers saves her life but at the cost of her memories. After waking up in a village inhabited by snake catchers, she meets Xu Xuan, who rescues her. As they embark on a quest to uncover her identity and learn about her hairpin, they are pursued by Xiao-Qing, her sister, who vows to retrieve her within three days or perish in the attempt. Amidst the collision of Taoists, demons, and humans, a tale of forbidden love unfolds.
