In the not-too-distant future, humanity faces an imminent threat from enigmatic beings referred to as "Huge." As a result, nations unite in a global effort to combat these creatures and create the anti-weapon "CHARM" (Counter Huge Arms) through the fusion of science and magic. CHARM proves more effective when wielded by teenage girls, who are subsequently hailed as "Lilies." These young warriors undergo rigorous training at military academies known as "Gardens," which also serve as safe havens for people seeking guidance and protection. This narrative follows the journey of aspiring Lilies determined to safeguard Earth from the looming danger posed by the Huge.

The anime adaptation is part of a media project based on the Assault Lily dolls, which also includes a theatrical play.
