Kuno buys an unusual egg with the hope that it holds the legendary powers of the Phoenix, which can aid him in defeating Ranma. However, when the egg hatches on his head, the bird becomes uncontrollable and causes chaos throughout Tokyo. To stop this, Ranma and his companions must employ any tactics they can to persuade the Phoenix to leave Kunos head and fly away.
