A martial artist named Junpei Ryuzouji, an elegant actress called Airi Komiyama, and a cheery student named Ritsuko Inoue are suddenly transported from Japan to an unknown magical world. When the elven priestess Celcia Marieclaire attempts to cast a spell to send them back home, she is interrupted, causing the spell to break into fragments that scatter throughout the land. These spell shards imprint themselves onto the skin of various elves in the world.
The trio sets out on a journey using Ritsukos tank, searching for elves who may carry these spell fragments so that Celcia can combine them and make the spell whole again. As they travel, their reputation as "Those Who Hunt Elves" grows, earning them fear from evil-doers due to their miraculous cannon. Despite not being the most intelligent group, they remain determined and enthusiastic about returning home to Japan.
