Nobita is feeling jealous about Suneos new toy and asks Doraemon to create a better one. Initially, Doraemon refuses but later discovers pieces of a mysterious robot that falls from the sky. After gathering all the parts and assembling them together, they complete the giant robot Zanda Claus. They soon learn that this is not just a toy, it's a powerful weapon to fight against an approaching Robot Army that will enslave Earth's human inhabitants. Riruru appears, looking for the robot.
