After the global war that did not involve nuclear weapons, Olympus has become the center of control for the world. It is governed by Bioroids, who are clones made from only the best genetic material. The city is protected from terrorists by special military forces, including Deunan Knute and her cyborg companion Briareos. They face a threat from the Human Liberation Front and its extremist branch known as the Argonauts. Al Ceides, the leader of this group, was believed to have been killed 20 years ago in an attack on Poseidon, but now his presence has resurfaced once more.
