The "Tachikoma TV series," which was broadcasted on Animax, differs from previous episodes of "Tachikoma na Hibi" that were supplementary to the main Ghost in the Shell SAC and 2nd GIG series. This special version features longer narratives based on Japanese and Orthodox folklore. The collection of all Tachikoma shorts was later re-released on a BD box.
