Chikage Kamiyashiro grew up as a warrior for Shumisen, a clandestine organization that aims to suppress mononke demons using unique spiritual entities known as "In." Tragically, his father was murdered by disloyal members of Shumisen, causing him to become withdrawn. Years later, Chikage developed the ability to wield "In" and was tasked with carrying out a covert operation to eliminate traitors within the society.
