In 2000, during summertime in Hollywood, Dreamworks Film Corp., under Spielberg's direction, produced "Chicken Run," featuring Nick Park's clay-figure animation expertise. This film was a massive success. The main character was a chicken, and the plot mirrored "The Great Escape." Meanwhile, Mushi Production created an animated work three decades ago that focused on a chicken as its central figure. In this story, a rebellion between rulers and ruled eventually escalated into a full-blown war. Despite its grand scale, the film only ran for three minutes. The unique feature of short animation lies in its ability to depict endless repetition of war in human history through exaggeration and great imagination within a limited timeframe.
