In Tamki Kasuga's mind before moving in with her grandmother in Kifumura, it was believed that gods and ghosts were only found in fairy tales. However, this belief is quickly shattered when she encounters strange creatures upon arrival. Soon after, she learns that females in her family possess the blood of the Tamayori Princess, who has the duty to keep gods and ghosts sealed away from harming the general public. Although it takes some time for Tamaki to accept this information, having five handsome young men following her everywhere as guardians helps convince her. However, she soon realizes that there is more to being a guardian than she initially thought. The journey ahead of her is filled with danger and peril, and it remains uncertain whether she will be able to fulfill the responsibilities placed upon her shoulders.
The first episode was pre-aired on March 6, 2012 on YTV. The Japanese voice cast for the main characters remains unchanged from the original PS2 otome game that the anime is based off of.
