On a rainy afternoon, while observing from across the street, the Detective Boys witness a murder that takes place. The suspect manages to escape due to heavy traffic, leaving behind only one clue for Conan Edogawa. Later on, another detective is killed in a parking lot, causing tension among the police force. As they search for the perpetrator, suspicion falls upon everyone without an alibi. Despite heightened vigilance, the police are outsmarted and suffer another attack. During this incident, Ran Mouri finds herself caught in the crossfire and is left with retrograde amnesia. She wakes up in a hospital with no memory of her past life, which makes her fearful about being targeted by the killer for what she saw. With friends and family watching over her, it falls to Conan to solve the mystery and identify the murderer before they strike again.
