In the 18th century, while wandering through the mountains at night, a person gets lost and eventually discovers a tiny sanctuary. Upon entering it, the area morphs into an alternate reality's chamber.
Tsukumo was elected as one of the Jury Recommended Works in the 16th Japan Media Arts Festival Animation Division and was nominated for Best Animated Short at the 86th Academy Awards. Winner of the Platinum Grand Prize during the 2014 Future Film Festival, held in Italy.
