The movie is centered on the latter part of Osamu Tezuka's highly acclaimed series, which follows the story of a white lion named Leo who embarks on a quest to become the ruler of the jungle. As Leo grows up, his newborn cub, Lune, becomes fascinated with humans after discovering a music box in an airplane wreckage. Meanwhile, a treasure hunter called Ham Egg and his team of rough-looking men are on a mission to find the Moonlight Stones, believed to be capable of resolving the world's energy crisis. Two other individuals named Dr. Moustache and Lemonade attempt to stop Ham Egg from causing any harm to the jungle. However, a virus breaks out in the jungle, poisoning many animals.
