Mitsubachi Maya no Bouken  

Maya is a newborn honeybee who is full of curiosity about her surroundings. Despite being brought up as a worker bee, she struggles to follow the strict rules of the hive due to her individuality and desire for independence. Driven by her noble intentions, Maya decides to embark on an adventure beyond the hive to find a flower garden in order to collect more honey for the hive. However, because she leaves without permission, the Queen sends Willy to search for her. Together with Willy, Maya explores the beauty of nature and experiences various challenges that help her grow into a strong and wise honeybee.

The series was based on the German children’s book Maya the Bee, originally published in 1912. Mitsubachi Maya no Bouken was notably in English twice, once for British with British voice actors and again for the United States with Canadian voice actors.
