The main focus of these tales revolves around the imagined lives of the actors portraying the characters from Fushigi Yuugi. Particular emphasis is given to Nakago, a character whose storyline intertwines with that of Miaka and Tamahome. In this narrative, Miaka becomes a renowned superstar while Tamahome behaves like an entitled celebrity. Meanwhile, Nakago, who serves as Tamahomes adversary, lives in poverty and is subject to his cruel mistreatment during recording sessions.
