Haruno Kasumi is a fourth-grade student whose parents are zoologists who have gone to Africa for research purposes. In order to bid farewell to her parents, Kasumi traveled to Kasumi Town, where she discovered an enormous mansion belonging to the Kasumi family. The mansion was surrounded by a forest and had a mysterious atmosphere about it. The Kasumi household welcomed Kasumi into their home, providing her with lodging and care. While living with the family, Kasumi encountered talking appliances that were referred to as "Henamon" by the Kasumi family. In exchange for staying with them, Kasumi was expected to assist with household chores such as cooking and washing. Surrounded by a variety of intriguing characters, Kasumi embarked on a new chapter in her life.
