On Tonaru Island, with its population of 600 individuals, there unfolds the story of Hana Haruyama, a first year high school student with a passion for reciting literature aloud. One day, Mizuki Usurai, a second year student, extends an invitation for Hana to join the school's broadcasting club, as Mizuki believes that her "reading" has the ability to captivate audiences.
