Every year, cherry blossoms bloom on an island called Hatsune. The main character of this story is Asakura Junnichi, who attends Kazami Academy and has the ability to see people's dreams in his sleep. He was also taught magic by an old lady that allows him to create sweets. Recently, Junnichi had a dream where he saw one of his childhood friends. However, he was woken up by his sister Nemu, who is not actually related to him but has a deep bond with him. Despite their lack of blood relation, they have an illusion of being lovers. The day started out normally for Junnichi and the others as they woke up early in the morning and went to Kazami Academy. They were joined by childhood friend Amakase Miharu, Shirakawa Kotori, and two sisters Mizukoshi Moe and Mako who enjoyed eating nabe on the school roof for lunch. As they continued with their day, a surprise awaited them as Yoshino Sakura suddenly appeared. Junnichi and Nemu were shocked to see her back after she had moved to America. Sakura explained that she came to fulfill the promise they made during childhood.
