As a result of some unknown event, Nana Suzuki is duplicated into seven distinct versions of herself. Apart from the original Nana, there are also six additional iterations, each with unique characteristics such as intelligence, happiness, anger, sensitivity, sadness, and slowness.

Shichinin no Nana was released on DVD by Media Blasters in six volumes from July 27, 2004 to May 31, 2005. The company later re-released the anime as one complete Blu-ray collection on June 8, 2021.
