Kimihiro Watanukis life was never typical. In this sequel to xxxHOLiC, he continues to work for Yuuko, the owner of a peculiar shop who promised to remove his ability to see spirits in exchange for his labor. However, she can only fulfill her promise when he has earned enough to deserve it. This is how it works at the shop: customers must pay an equivalent amount for their wishes. Set in both the world of the living and the dead, Watanuki performs household tasks for Yuuko and her companions while also assisting clients. Along with his classmates Shizuka Doumeki and Himawari Kunogi, he handles the various misfortunes that befall Yuukos customers as well as those that follow him and his friends.
