Ash is bound by an enigmatic force when he encounters Volcanion in mid-air. Despite his attempts to escape, Volcanion remains tethered to him as they journey onward. Their destination is a metropolis composed entirely of machinery, where a nefarious official has purloined the legendary Artificial Pokemon Magearna. The malevolent minister intends to harness Magearnas elusive abilities in order to seize control over the mechanical realm.
