According to the official website of "The File of Young Kindaichi Returns" anime series, there is going to be a one-hour special television episode titled "The Case of Inspector Akechi". This episode will air on December 26th. The site has released a trailer for this episode which provides a sneak peek into the storyline and characters involved. Furthermore, it's been announced that Yudai Chiba will be playing Ryūtaro Kobayashi in this special episode. He is a junior detective who works under Detective Akechi.
