During a particular period on a specific continent, mundane occurrences are taking place. The construction of grand recreational areas has led to the displacement of all villages. When these demands are rejected, the village and its inhabitants are destroyed. A young boy named Chap lived peacefully until his happiness was shattered. Driven by revenge, he sets out on a quest. However, along the way, he falls deeply in love with Princess Melora's daughter. To satisfy her self-centered desires, he enlists the help of his friends to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles.

Game developer Level-5 unveiled The Snack World — its next cross-media project after Inazuma Eleven, Little Battlers eXperience, and Yo-kai Watch — during its "Level-5 Vision 2015 -The Beginning-" presentation on Tuesday, April 31. The "hyper casual fantasy" project will feature a Nintendo 3DS/Android/iOS game by Level-5, a full-CG television animation airing on TV Tokyo, a manga series running in Shogakukans Monthly Corocoro Comic magazine, a toy line from Takara Tomy, and a movie that TOHO will distribute throughout Japan.
