After defeating Boros and his army, Saitama returned to his normal life in Z-City. However, despite this, the number of monsters is still increasing, putting a strain on the Hero Association's resources. The association's leaders decide to recruit hoodlums to help with their battle against these monsters. During the first meeting with potential newcomers, Garou appears, claiming to be a monster and attacking the crowd mercilessly. He turns out to be Silverfang's best former disciple and is driven by unknown motives. Despite his fearsome appearance, Garou seems unstoppable. Saitama becomes intrigued by this new enemy and decides to join the martial arts competition that has just begun. As the tournament progresses and Garou continues his rampage, a new great threat emerges, threatening the entire human world. This could finally be the catastrophe predicted by Madame Shibabawa.
