In the aftermath of the decline of science and technology, humanity discovers a new form of energy called "magic." This magic powers the modern era. However, humanity creates forbidden biological weapons called "Gears," which eventually turn against them in rebellion. Despite their victory in the "Crusades," humanity suffers great losses, leaving emotional wounds that take decades to heal. At his parents' wedding ceremony, Sin Kiske, the child of a human and a Gear, witnesses his parents breaking the ultimate taboo by marrying despite their differences. Although the wedding is met with blessings, it takes many years for such a union to occur due to the complex emotions surrounding it. Suddenly, a mysterious girl appears who inherits Gear blood and despises them. Their meeting will have profound consequences for the world.
