Ten years ago, Dr. Hell led his followers, known as the Underground Empire, in an attempt to destroy all of humanity. The young hero Kouji Kabuto fought against these forces while piloting the legendary super robot "Mazinger Z." Koujis victory stopped Dr. Hells evil plan and restored peace to Earth. Now, Kouji has left his role as a pilot behind and is pursuing his own scientific career, following in his family's footsteps. However, an unexpected encounter deep under Mt. Fuji triggers a new threat to mankind that surpasses anything seen before. This event alters Koujis fate forever, forcing him to make a choice between good and evil as he and Mazinger Z face the ultimate challenge for humanity's survival.
Mazinger Z Movie: Infinity made its worldwide premiere in Italian theaters on October 31, 2017, followed by France on November 22. It opened in theaters in Japan on January 13, 2018.
