Dr. Hell and his Mechanical Beasts have returned with increased danger. Kouji Kabuto and Tetsuya Tsurugi engage in a fierce battle against these machines under Baron Ashura's command. Regrettably, they are defeated, with Kouji's Mazinger Z being captured and Tetsuyas Great Mazinger severely damaged by the enemy. Dr. Hell then converts the captured robot into Ashura Mazinger and uses it to attack the Photo Power Lab. Meanwhile, Kouji is missing in action, leaving Tetsuya to defend the lab with the damaged Great Mazinger. Despite Tetsuyas bravery as a pilot, the forces of Dr. Hell are too strong, and all seems lost until an overpowering blast from an unknown robot destroys the entire Mechanical Beast army. Could this mysterious robot be the legendary Mazinkaiser, and who is piloting it?
