The story revolves around the back-to-school chaos experienced by Kaname Chidori and her war-obsessed friend Sousuke Sagara at Jindai High School. However, things take an unexpected turn when Kaname gets into some serious trouble. In response, Sousuke disguises himself as Bonta-kun-the school's gun-toting mascot-to protect her. Meanwhile, he must also balance his responsibilities as a normal teenager with the need to safeguard his superior officer Teletha Testarossa, who has chosen to spend a few weeks at Jindai High School posing as Kaname and Sousuke's classmate.
