In ancient China during the Shang dynasty, Emperor Shou disobeyed the will of the gods by openly declaring his intention to lead the people and resist against them. Despite bravely fighting against Tian Kui, Zi Shou was met with laughter from the gods watching above. He was then killed by another greater god named Tian and broke the Immortal Phoenix armor. Later, Wu Geng awoke in the body of Ah Gou and discovered he now had a wife named Bai Cai.
