In this story, we follow a young man named Gen as he journeys through time from the present day of 2020 to a far-off future where humans have vanished. He finds himself at the Ganko family home in the Rustling Forest, where he must adapt to living without modern conveniences such as electricity, gas, water, televisions, smartphones, convenience stores, snacks, or games.
