Recently, Nori Kamitsuki moved from Chiba to Gunma, following his former friend Otoya Todoroki, who had relocated to the area during elementary school. On his way there, he received a concerning text message from Todoroki urging him to turn back and warning that once someone entered Gunma, they would never leave. Despite this ominous message, Kamitsuki continued with his new life in Gunma and made friends who were determined to prove the negative stereotypes about the prefecture wrong. They showed him all the unique aspects of Gunma, including its local cuisine, landmarks, daily routines, and people's attitudes. Although Gunma is often viewed as Japan's least popular prefecture, Kamitsuki discovered that he had not yet experienced everything it had to offer.
