In 1995 winter, while taking a night walk in snow, Mikiya Kokutou met a young woman wearing a white kimono and having an enigmatic expression. She smiled at him, and he was intrigued by her gaze. Later that spring, they became acquaintances during their high school entrance ceremony conversations. As Shiki Ryougi opened up to Mikiya, he learned about her unique background. Meanwhile, a series of brutal murders occurred in Mifune City. These killings seemed related and prompted an extensive police investigation. Since his cousin is a police investigator, Mikiya received insights into the case. Worried for Shikis safety, he decided to monitor her actions. However, this led him to a shocking discovery that forever changed his life.
Includes claymation short which was shown before the movie in theaters.
