Researchers unearth a fossil of the mythical creature known as Mew, which leads to the creation of Mewtwo, a legendary Pokemon intended for destructive purposes. As Mewtwo becomes aware of its own questionable origins, it develops resentment towards its human creators and seeks revenge. Satoshi, Pikachu, and their companions find themselves caught in the middle of this rampage, putting the future of the Pokemon world at risk. Will our heroes be able to defeat Mewtwo and help it find a new purpose in life?
This film is the 22nd installment in the Pokémon film series and is a CGI remake of the first film.
