The Meisei Academy baseball team was renowned for their strength because of Tatsuya Uesugi's legacy. However, despite being 26 years since their peak, the team has not maintained their record and reputation. Two stepbrothers, Souichirou and Touma Tachibana, aspire to revive the once-great Meisei Academy baseball team and compete in the National High School Baseball Championship. As second-year students at Meisei Academy Middle School, both boys possess exceptional talent as catchers and batters. Although Souichirou is an outstanding pitcher, Touma has retired from pitching due to a specific reason. Once they enter high school, Souichirou and Touma team up as a battery with the goal of qualifying for the National High School Baseball Championship.
