Pān Guāng-Líns sister is Lǐ Xiù-Bǎo, who first met Kenshirō after he was badly beaten and nursed back to health by her. She appears to be a Christian and was promised in marriage to Máng Kuáng-Yún as payment for an adopted father's debt. However, Yù-Líng was already in love with Kenshiro, leading to jealousy from Kuāng-Yún, who erased her memory and left her with a nomadic warlord in Northern China. She became the leader of the horse bandits known as Lǐ Xiù-Bǎo, fighting small guerilla battles against the Imperial Japanese Army. During this time, she learned some Praying Mantis martial art. Eventually, Yù-Líng regains her memories in Shanghai after meeting Kenshiro again and marries him. After Guāng-Lín was crippled in an assassination attempt, Yù-Líng succeeds her brother as leader of the Qīng Bāng.
