Seiichi Takano  

Takano Seiichi is a 41-year-old man who owns a successful interior design company, Hotaru's boss, and current landlord. Despite being married at the time, he left his home to give both him and his wife some space to think about their relationship. Although it was later revealed that he was going through a divorce, Takano Seiichi is deeply in love with his wife. His father owns the house where Hotaru currently resides, but despite wanting to kick her out, he couldn't due to circumstances, resulting in them living together. The women at the office find Takano Seiichi attractive and admire his sense of style and leadership skills as a boss. On the other hand, Hotaru sees him as strict and particular about cleanliness but respects him for being kind-hearted, hardworking, and supportive of her relationship. Despite disliking her messy personality, Takano Seiichi appreciates all of her efforts to improve herself and their relationship. He has stated that he does not view Hotaru as a woman.
