Dr. Kiriko, also known as the Death Doctor or Black Jack's Dark Reflection, served in World War II and was driven by experiences of violence and suffering to believe that death could be preferable to a life of pain. Like Black Jack, he is an underground doctor who charges high fees for his unique services. In the Clinical Chart OVA series, Dr. Kiriko is introduced as Mozart.
