In Street Fighter, one of the game's main characters is named Vega, also known as Balrog in Japan. He utilizes a unique fighting style that combines elements of Ninjutsu and Bullfighting. Born into a noble family in Spain, Vega was exposed to Bullfighting from an early age due to his family's traditions. Later, he traveled to Japan where he learned about Ninjutsu, which he felt complemented his natural agility and grace. Upon returning home, Vega combined these two styles and gained notoriety in underground cage fighting circuits. However, a tragic event occurred when Vega witnessed the murder of his mother by his own father. This traumatic experience caused him to develop a dual personality: he presents himself as a refined nobleman during the day while secretly engaging in brutal violence at night. His first victim was his father, whom he mutilated using a three-pronged wrist-mounted razor-sharp claw. Impressed by Vega's skills and ruthless nature, M. Bison offered him a place within Shadaloo. Although initially motivated by aesthetic reasons, Vega eventually became an integral part of the organization due to his formidable fighting abilities.
