Hizashi Hyuuga belonged to the Hyuuga Clan and was the father of Neji Hyuuga, Hiashi's younger twin brother, and Hanabi and Hinata's uncle. His brother, Hiashi, faced punishment from the Thunder Country for kidnapping his daughter. Despite resenting the family structure, Hizashi believed it was best to sacrifice himself and disable his brother rather than let him die. This act influenced Neji's feelings towards their relationship.
